What a great week! I just finished nine glorious days of vacation for our Thanksgiving break. And boy am I thankful for it!

I got to spend the first half of break at my roomie's house. We had some great times vedging out (what we do best!), exploring Hershey's Chocolate World, and having a fun time away from the stress of school. It was fun being in a house with lots of kids. My house is definitely quiet compared to hers! She has three teenage siblings (2 brothers and a sister) and a dog. So we didn't get to sleep in too much. But it was still a great time and I'm glad I got to spend some quality time with the roomie.

The second half of the week was spent with my family at my Nana's house. She just moved, so Mom and Renee were busy playing Interior Decorator for most of our stay. Nana just moved and her new house is very nice. But it was weird being in Winchester without being at "Nana & Papaw's house". I'm still trying to adjust to life without Papaw. But despite that, it was a wonderful holiday and I was glad to be able to spend it with my family (whom I hadn't seen in 3 months).

But now I'm back at school. Two weeks of classes and a week of finals and I'll be done. That's 19 more days for all of you who are counting. It'll be four months since I've been in NH and I am ready to go home! I wicked miss Jay and my "gang"! And I really don't want to be here. I know we all say that, but I really really mean it this time. This semester has been so incredibly stressful...I honestly can't wait to get it over with. You all know what a super-nerd I have been. I mean, good grief, I'm the girl who said my first day of kindergarten was better than a roller coaster ride! I have never come so close to really hating school as I have this semester. It has kept me physically sick for over a month, emotionally strained, and mentally drained. Only by the grace of God have I survived! Just 19 more days...

Yay for jello, the best stress relief snack ever invented. You can't help but laugh eating the stuff. And yay for my boyfriend who sends me random stuff like jello "just cause". You're the greatest, Jay!

Tonight was pre-registration. That means that about 600 frantic, academically obsessed Juniors were all logged on to our server by 5:55 pm trying to grab the last seats in those all-important major requirement classes. And that means that our server was overloaded and shut down within twenty minutes. So after an hour of intense staring at that little loading bar at the bottom of my screen, I was finally register for all my classes. I was the second to last one to grab a spot in Shakespeare too! And as if our administration's lack of foresight in server overload problems wasn't bad enough, they also had the brilliant idea of scheduling the annual fire drills for tonight. Our dorm hasn't gone off yet, but MEP went off about 15 minutes after pre-registration opened. Like mom always says, people may be smart, but it doesn't mean they have common sense!
