Unexcused Absence
I could write the typical "I'm a lousy blogger who can't handle updating more than once a month and you deserve better, O internet stalkers" entry. Sorry folks, that's not happening though. I work 60+ hours a week and while in college this was a great chance for me to procrastinate my "important" work, I find that I rarely have time to think about procrastination anymore, much less do it. That being said, here are some tidbits about my recent life for your viewing pleasure:
- Teaching rocks! As hard as it is and stressful as it is, I love it and don't want to be anywhere else right now!
- Speaking of things that are awesome, I have to add a plug to "the boy" as my school friends call him. Jay is an all-around super guy, and he's been especially understanding with my teaching schedule and the many demands it brings, both during the week and on the weekends.
- My house appears to be bug-free, thank God!
- I got to go back to the Grove for homecoming about a month ago (yes, I meant to write a post all about it). It was great to see a bunch of my friends again and I was glad for the break, short though it was.
- Being in New England absolutely rocks my socks off! Despite the lack of normal brilliance in the colors (way to go summer drought), I have loved every minute of my favorite season.
